Our objective is to provide an inclusive and seamless experience for all guests at the Festival. Satchmo SummerFest takes place at the New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old U.S. Mint, a historic building and grounds on the edge of the French Quarter. The building and festival site are ADA-compliant. Guests with mobility challenges are encouraged to enter the Festival on the Barracks side of the grounds. The Esplanade entrance to the site features historic cobblestones that may be challenging for individuals using wheelchairs and walkers. Both outdoor stages are outfitted with ramps to allow wheelchair access, and the New Orleans Jazz Museum building is equipped with elevators to provide access to every level.
